Porto Wine Tour
A complete tour to get to know about the wines from the north region of Portugal. The tour includes a visit to the most ancient Port Wine Cellar and a tasting, as well as a visit to two Wine Houses for a taste of our famous Vinho Verde (green wine) and the much appreciated Douro Wine, with a side of cheeses and the traditional Portuguese smoked meats.
The guide was very knowledgable & passionate about Porto & Portugal & everything connected to it. Plenty of walking but that was fine, great value for money.
Hicimos el tour histórico y el de vinos con Hagna, y los dos fueron geniales. El tour de la mañana te enseña todos los puntos importantes de la ciudad y Hagna te explica todo muy bien y de forma muy entretenida. Y el de vinos, fue la mejor decisión, además de probar los vinos de Porto, la compañia fue buenisima, tanto por los compañeros como por Hagna. Ambos tours muy muy recomendables!

Muy muy buena visita con Hagna, hicimos un tour historico muy completo y el de vinos tambien muy recomendable! Fue una visita muy amena y agradable! ?Por la mañana hicimos visita turistica por la ciudad muy interesante y a la tarde nos animamos a hacer el tour de vinos y fue todo un acierto! Ademas de tener la suerte estar con Hagna en los dos tours, los compañeros lo hicieron aun mas completo!!
Be prepared for a good amount of wine! Lots of fun! And interesting! Not a ton of food.
The wine Tour was very educational and fun to do. I would recommend anyone visiting Porto to do this Tour!

Esta semana hemos hecho estos dos tour por oporto, y ha ido genial! María nos enseñó de una forma estupenda la ciudad en él Free tour. Con Luisa disfrutamos de la visita a las bodegas y cata también estupendo. En todo momento nos han facilitado la estancia con nuestro perro, muy muy recomendable!
En cuanto al tour de vinos nos gustó mucho la compañía de Luisa, fue muy agradable y atenta. Sin embargo no puedo recomendar este tour. Te llevan a la Bodega Croft, la más antigua de oporto, donde te dan a probar 3 tipos de vino! El tour continua con una parada en un bar a tomar vino de Douro y luego en otro para probar vino Verde (que justo es el local donde se hace la parada del free tour).
I did the historical walking tour with Caoi which was very interesting. It is quite a lot of walking! I felt like we went to places that I may not have found otherwise. I then did the wine tasting tour in the evening with Luisa which was fantastic, highly recommended! All the wine we tried was fantastic, and I learnt a lot too! I think I was lucky in that we had a very small group. The wine tour was probably one of my favourite things I have done in Europe!
This was a fun outing. When in Porto, you have to try port - even if you are not much of a wine drinker. You meet your guide and he walks you to a winery. The tour there is fun and informative and 3 good samples of port. Your guide then takes you to a bar where we got to have a glass of wine. And then to another restaurant/bar for another glass of wine and some nibblies. All in all about 3-4 hours. It is all very fun and relaxing. They were very understanding. Our flight was late on the day our tour was suppose to be, so we were going to miss most of the tour. When we called, they gave us the option to join in late, or to come the next day. We opted for the next day. The only "non-positive" is the meeting point was Louis I bridge. Well, coming from North America, I expected something of a formal meeting place (a booth, or a sign, or something like that), but nope, just a person shows up and kind of gathers the people up - quite unformally - it was great once I realized it.

The second tour I did was the wine tour with Louisa. She was an amazing guide as well! She met me while at lunch with João and brought me to the meeting place. She was very friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond what I expect of a tour guide. When our initial tour had some set backs due to the São João holiday, she found a way to make it work and still give us an excellent experience.
