We started with an education on cheese!! And it was very interesting. We really enjoyed traveling through the different areas and learning the history of the island. Our tour guide was great. We rented a car and this tour will help us navigate the island. Definitely a repeatable experience.
We had a great time on our tour with Randy and our friendly driver, Rafael. The food on St. Maarten/Martin is awesome but even though we have visited the island many times we were introduced to new spots. Randy was happy to share his knowledge of the island even explaining the new parliamentary form of government. A wonderful tour. All 4 of us had a great day.
So. Much. Fun. This tour was offered as an excursion during our cruise. What a blast! We had the opportunity to stop at 4 different places: cheese/wine, a french restaurant, a bbq joint, and an ice cream shop. The tour guide was extremely informative and a joy to spend a few hours with. If you have a few hours to spare and enjoy food, this is the tour for you!
My party had a wonderful time on the Flavors of St Martin Food Tour from the wine and cheese that preceded our journey to the luscious ice cream and carnival carousel ride that ended it. Our guide Anike was engaging, entertaining and very funny as she opened up the island's culinary history to us. Stops along the way at Antoine's By the Sea (highly recommended), the Sky's the Limit (ditto), and the Carousel Ice Cream Shop were great. One of my party is a chef, and she enjoyed the experience immensely. What a nice experience.
As a family of five, we had a great experience with our tour. Randy was entertaining and informative. Something for everyone. The places we stopped were all extremely friendly and accommodating. Definitely would do this again.
Great day, Anke was a charming and fun guide. She took us to different parts of the island with a light hearted commentary along the way. Visited and tasted some great food. Really got a taste for the island!
